Jay Sharon, pro poker gamer, 2 LIers prosecuted in NYC gambling ring

Professional poker gamer Jay Sharon and 2 Long Islanders were among eight men prosecuted in an extremely sophisticated sports online casino gambling racket found, that brought in an estimated $3.5 million a year, district attorneys stated Tuesday.

The accused, including Jonathan Cianciotto, 40, of Garden City, and Joshua Handler, 27, of Levittown, will face up to 25 years in jail if founded guilty.
